All Punjabi Land Records Re Online Soon- Punjabi Deputy CM

Punjabi Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal announced that all Punjabi people land details will be computerized and will be able to view on online in April 2011. All the NRI people can access the land details on online.
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said, “Punjab would be the first state to have all land records computerized by March 31, 2011, enabling citizens, even those living abroad, to access their records online and get a hard copy of it with digital signature of the tehsildar concerned”.
The Deputy Chief Minister said unless the benefits of information technology was taken to the people in remote areas, IT revolution in a diverse country like India was meaningless. He said, “people would witness a perceptible change in governance, with availability of 54 citizen services under one roof in the upcoming e-Sewa Kendras in each ward of each city, besides 3,000 e-grams in villages.”
