BIG Live announced Punjabi Music awards 2010

Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd.’s radio arm BIG Live announces the ‘BIG PUNJABI MUSIC AWARDS 2010’, in association with DareClub.
The BIG F.M’s north vice president, Siddharth Bhardwaj announced the BIG Punjabi Music Awards 2010. Harbhajan Mann won the Best male singer/actor award, Dolly Guleria won the Best female singer/actor award and Atul Sharma won the best Music Director award.
Siddharth Bhardwaj said, “We at Big FM are delighted to announce the prestigious awards. This is part of our endeavour to entertain the local populace with local content and music. The idea of honouring stalwarts and talent from the Punjabi fraternity comes with an aim of recognizing genuine talent of (this) culturally rich state.”
The award categories are Religious Punjabi Music Award of the Year, Bhangra Hit of the Year, Sufi Song of the Year, Bollywood Punjabi Hit of the Year, Best Lyricist of the Year (Film), Best Lyricist of the Year (Album), Best Music Director of the Year (Film), Best Music Director of the Year (Album), Best Singer of the Year (Male, Film), Best Singer of the Year (Male, Non Film), Best Singer of the Year (Female, Film), Best Singer of the Year (Female, Non Film), Most Promising Singer – Female, Most Promising Singer – Male, Best Download Song, Best Video Director Song and Best Music Album Song.
Tycoon Media is the OOH partner, Punjab Kesari is print media partner whereas Apeeje Educational Society is the associate sponsor for Big Punjabi Music Awards.
