Daal Makhani Recipe

Daal Makhani has a great test. This recipe was prepared by urad dal mixed with Rajma and cream & flavored with garam masala. Daal Makhani is inspired by many food joints across the world.
Components:
Whole urad dal 1 cup
Rajma 1/4 cup (red kidney beans)
Green chilies 2-3
Tomato 1
Onion 1
Coriander leaves 1 sprig
Garlic flakes 4-5
Ginger piece 1″
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Red chilly powder for taste
Dhania powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
Curd 1/2 cup
Fresh cream 1/2 cup
Butter 2 tbsp
Oil for frying
Salt as per taste
Daal Makhani Preparation:
Rajma (red kidney beans) are washed and place in water through out the nigh and cook rajma and urad dal with water and a bit of salt in a pressure cooker for maximum 20-25 minutes. Then soft, squash and boil the rajma and urad dal for another 15-20 minutes.
Now, stir in fresh cream and curd to the dal. After, take a heavy bottomed pan, heat some oil in it and add cumin seeds. When they splutter, add garlic paste and Fry until light brown. Also add onions and saute and fry till golden brown color upturn.
Now, add tomatoes, green chilies and ginger paste and fry till the tomatoes become soft. Then, add dhania powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and fry for 1 minute.
Now, pour in the dal and cook medium on flame. When, the dal starts boiling remove from heat and adds garam masala powder and butter. Then Garnish with coriander leaves.
Now, serve hot with rice or roti.
