Kings XI Punjab Out From the IPL 4

Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals franchises were banned for the next year Indian Premier League (IPL 4). The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) announced this news on Sunday.
In 29th September, in the BCCI’s Annual General Meeting they announced that BCCI had already issued show cause notice to the banned two franchises. These two teams were banned for various irregularities during the period of their contract.
BCCI secretary N Srinivasan said, ‘It was unanimously decided that the Franchise agreements with K.P.H. Dream Cricket Pvt. Ltd. and Jaipur IPL Cricket Pvt. Ltd. be terminated forthwith based on the Legal opinions obtained by BCCI in the matters.’ With these two BCCI also issued the notice to the latest franchise Kochi.
