‘The Sikh Times’ Editor Awarded by the Prestigious House of Lords

Dr Gurjeet Kaur Bains was awarded by the prestigious House of Lords in London for her contribution to society as a chief editor of the Sikh Times and Eastern Voice.
Indian Welfare Society was organized this event and hosted by Baroness Sandip Verma. This awarded was presented by the Nalini Surie (Excellency High Commissioner of India), Anand Singh (former senior minister for the congress party) and Gurvinder Singh (the secretary of NRI Welfare Society).
Gurjeet Kaur Bains was won the thirty global awardees for the important role in the Institute of Asian Business. She is the first women president for this Institution. This is one of the largest Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom.
She developed the Asian community in Britain, which is named as British ‘Asian Hafta’ Baroness Sandip Verma is an Ambassador for this community and she is also a non-executive director for the largest NHS Health Trust, University Hospital Birmingham.
